Understanding Plant Nutrients: Soil and Applied Zinc
Author(s) Emmett Schulte.
Plants vary considerably in their requirements for zinc. In Wisconsin, zinc deficiencies have been observed on corn, snap bean, and a few other vegetable crops. In addition, high concentrations of exchangeable zinc (>100 ppm) may be toxic to many agronomic crops. Find out more about this mineral and how it can affect the soil on your land (2 pages; 1999).
